"The gunmen kept shouting 'Allahu Akbar' and firing guns haphazardly. They went into the cement factory and took away some vehicles,"

VIDEO: Mary J Blige - Whole Damn Year
For those who really wanna get back on same track with the queen, "Whole Damn Year" is a damn good place to start. Using her smooth vocals to accent a minimalist piano-driven instrumental, Mary proves once again why she deserves to be mentioned in any conversation about R&B's best artists.
Visually, this one is about as powerful as the song itself, depicting the devastating effects of abuse in all of its forms. The black-and-white handheld photography gives the narrative a documentary-esque feel, making the events all the more convincingly deplorable.
