I Can Compete With Usher On The Dance Floor – Peter Okoye

Psquare is one of the leading group in the music industry in Nigeria that has been dropping hit music ever since they started.

The duo just released their sixth studio album title “Double Trouble” this year.

One of the group member, Peter Okoye claims he can stand Usher on the dance floor after so many years in the choreography business.

In an interview with Beat 99.9FM the “Danger” hit maker said his “lost brother” Usher is one of the best when it comes to dance and singing in the world but he can also be beaten on the dance floor by him if the opportunity surfaces.

“We have danced for a very long time to compete even with the best in the world,” Peter said on radio.

“Usher is like a mentor, I watched him dance ever since I was young but I can match him now… after dancing for many years.”

Man Charged to Court for Drug Possession Smokes Weed Right in Front of the Judge -

Some folks have totally lost it, if you haven’t met any, then its my pleasure to introduce you to Adam Hanly, who was in court for being in possession of drugs, and instead of doing all he can to make the judge tamper just with mercy – he does the most crazy thing ever.

Hanly pulled out a glass bong and took a hit of weed right in front of the judge hearing his case in the Taree court – According to him, he is “a servant of the lord Rastafari and had been sent by the Lord Jesus Christ to smoke up this court.” Whaaat!!!

Anyways, the 50-year-old ‘Rastafari servant’ who was already facing a drug possession charge, before he whipped out the bong, was charged again.

Police have charged Hanly, who says he’s an Avocado grower’ with attempting to administer a prohibited drug as well as possession.

Na so craz dey star Ooh....or was in you tink?

No Reasons To Celebrate 54th Independence Day – Tinubu .

Ex Lagos State governor Asiwaju Bola Tinubu explains why he does not feel optimistic about celebrating Nigeria’s 54th Independence in an elaborate fashion.
Nigerians suffer from poor leadership, while the nation is yet to fulfill its potential, P.M. News reports with reference to Tinubu’s statement released today, September 29.

The All Progressives Congress (APC) national leader started his address with the following words:

“We commemorate this Independence Day because the nation has survived despite its many challenges. We dare not celebrate because the nation has not flourished as it should. 54 years our national trek began with hope and promise, peace and unity.

Today, the nation staggers beneath the weight of trouble stacked upon problem multiplied by hardship. Peace and unity seem to have yielded the moment to violence and discord. We exist as a political unit on a map but we do not prosper as brothers and sisters in one nation, under one flag and pursuant to one accord.”

Insisting that he is proud to be a Nigerian, Tinubu noted however that “genuine patriotism should not induce blindness”and urged Nigerians to focus on the problems that remain unresolved.

Speaking about the upcoming celebrations of the October 1 Independence Day, the former governor said:

This is not a time for fake cheers and elation at the present state of things just because the calendar has touch this day. We need to use this hour soberly by taking stock of the obstacles mounting before us and of the hard direction in which we seem to be heading. I fear this direction, if further taken, will lead us not home but to an appointment with failure and national destitution.

”

He also expressed his opinion on the dynamics of changes in the country and criticized the acting administration over hindering the country progress because of the adopted direction.

“Nigeria currently is saddled with the reprobate leadership Awo, Zik, Sardauna and Tafawa Belewa feared. We have entered unchartered territory not so much because we are expanding the outer bounds of national progress. We traverse such ground because this government leads us into places where angles fear to tread and where sensible man should not go.

“Never has an elected government in Nigeria employed religion as a tool to divide the people, setting Nigerian brother against brother in a manner that allows this administration to function at the basest level of governance while seeking to establish a political domination that seeks no greater purpose than its self perpetuation. Our nation was supposed to advance, year by year, toward greater democracy. Instead, we rush into the pit of arbitrary, imperious rule that smacks of despotism.”

Tinubu also enumerated Nigeria’s problems and challenges concluding that those were not reasons for celebration, but the “troubling signals” that should awake the nation.

“The incessant attempts to stigmatize and physically intimidate a peaceful political opposition and the militarization of elections are features of a perverse democracy, a democracy run at gun-point and with a swift and eager trigger, Brazen assaults on the judiciary, the flippant and frequent violation of the constitution and the rule of law, and the elevation of corruption to making it a new and perhaps the strongest arm of government are the instruments that now shape our nation. These things are not the fare of celebration. They are the impetus for political reform and change.”

In his statement Tinubu said the 16 years of ruling by the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) pulled the country back adding that “the longer they rule, the less benefit the people derive”.

He lamented over the politics which causes division of people saying that the flourishing can be reached only through unity.

“It is accomplished by honoring the principles of democratic good governance and economic justice. It is done by persuading the people they are better off as one instead of better off tearing at each other’s throats.”

“Governance is about trust. And this government is not even trusted by itself. That is why it does nothing except feed itself. This is not the road for a better Nigeria. We must proceed from this 54th anniversary to embark on a common sense revolution that brings about progressive change for the benefit of most of our country men and women, our youth and the vulnerable among us.”

Thus, the speaker concluded with the idea that if Nigerians want to make a step forward, they should be ready for a change in order to celebrate the “Independence Day we can and should celebrate.”

Wiz is a serial cheater say Amber Rose

According to reports, the exes are accusing each other of cheating. Find the report from TMZ below...
Amber Rose has filed for divorce from Wiz Khalifa because she's convinced he's been a serial cheater for months ... making lame excuses that just don't hold water.
It's a bitter break-up, with each accusing the other of cheating. Sources connected with Amber tell TMZ ... since the beginning of Wiz's tour in July she strongly suspected he was stepping out.
Amber's telling friends she wanted to join Wiz on the tour but he came up with a panoply of excuses, the most frequent of which ... she should stay home with their 1-year-old.
She also says he tried to show dominance by telling her he's the bread winner and he needed to be left alone to make money and she needed to stay home. BTW ... we understand that doesn't make a lot of sense, but that's what she said.

As we reported ... Wiz believes it was Amber who was cheating, courtesy of Nick Cannon, and she's throwing up allegations against him as a cover for her own misdeeds.

And Wiz has complained privately ... Amber is one big nag.
Meanwhile, Nick's camp has denied he's dating or sleeping with Amber Rose. Insiders tell TMZ Nick knew nothing of Amber and Wiz's marital problems until after her lawyers notified him during negotiations of her management deal.

The sources admits Amber and Nick bonded over break-up stories but insist their relationship is strictly professional.

OPC Leader “Gani Adams” Warns South West On Boko Haram

According to Sunnewsonline, Adams made this statement while speaking at the Oranyan Festival held at the palace of the Alaafin of Oyo, Oba Lamidi Olayiwola Adeyemi recently.

He said: “Indication is rife that Boko Haram has entered South West. Evidence of their incursion into the zone was the explosion in Apapa, Lagos, of which, Shekau, the Islamist sect leader, claimed responsibility.”

It was also gathered that the OPC leader advised political leaders in the South West to proffer a drastic solution to curtail the Boko Haram menace in the region.

He berated the governors in the south west for their nonchalant attitudes towards the Boko Haram menace, saying none of them had called him, as the leader of the OPC, to discuss proactive measures to curtail the spill over.

“I have been to 51 countries launching OPC. I’ve just returned from Europe and what they were asking me is on the issue of Boko Haram.

“We need to organize a stakeholders’ meeting on security in order to chart a way forward on how to secure our region against Boko Haram.
“The issue of Boko Haram is a collective responsibility.

Everyone must harmonise his or her potentials to curtail the menace as the sect members cannot be fought from afar as their identity is hidden,” Adams opined.

Commenting on the concluded National Conference in Abuja, Adams, who was a delegate to confab, said the resolution of the conference recommends a true federalism synonymous to the United State of America which makes its political system to thrive.

A Ray Of Hope!!! Boko Haram Finally Agree To Release ALL Kidnapped Chibok Girls?

Fresh reports say that Boko Haram group has finally agreed to free all the Chibok girls for 18 sect commanders currently in detention.

It would be recalled that less than two weeks ago it was reported that the insurgents had agreed to release only 30 female students abducted in April in exchange for 18 key group members.

The decision was allegedly made after the Nigerian authorities had held secret talks with one of Boko Haram seniors identified as Umar.

This Saturday it was gathered that the International Committee of the Red Cross and the Nigerian government were holding long-time negotiations on the issue.

According to the Nation, the agreement on 219 girls release was reached.

It has been reported that the two parties asked their representatives to go back to their leaders to discuss the new conditions.

At the meeting said to be facilitated by the President, Civil Rights Congress (CRC), Comrade Shehu Sani, it was allegedly claimed that if the girls were tried to be released by force, it might lead to fatalities.

One of those who attended the session said:

“The sect shifted its position and agreed to release all the girls instead of 30 Christian married girls it had promised. But Boko Haram said it does not trust the government going by previous experience.

If the government had respected previous talks, the Chibok girls were initially meant to be off the hook during the Eid-el Fitr festival.

Again about two weeks ago, a delegation was already in Maiduguri until the swap deal was bungled. Some security agents only advised on the release of six out of the 18 leaders of the sect.

They rated the rest 12 as dangerous. When the insurgents found out, they backtracked and demanded the release of the 18 leaders. The development paved the way for the latest talks in Abuja which involved the ICRC.”

The source also said that the Nigerian authorities promised to release the 18 leaders as soon as all the girls were let go.

Lagos 2015:- Fashola, Tinubu In Serious War Over Choice Of Candidate For Governorship (Very Interesting)

The return of leader of the All Progressives Congress (APC) Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, to Nigeria from abroad on Thursday is to ensure that the machinery of the state is put into motion to ensure the emergence of his candidate, Akinwunmi Ambode, as the candidate of the party in the governorship election to be held in the State in 2015, Naijaloaded.com.ng can authoritatively reveal.

Ambode, a former Accountant-General of Lagos State is a major contender in the governorship race in the State. Other contenders on the platform of the APC are the Speaker of the Lagos State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Adeyemi Ikuforiji, former Commissioner for Education in the State, Dr. Leke Pitan, the current Commissioner for Works, Obafemi Hamzat, a Senator in the State, Ganiyu Olarenwaju Solomon, and a former Commissioner for Rural Development, Tola Kasali.
The only person among the list that is currently giving Ambode a run for his money is Hamzat. While Tinubu backs Ambode, Fashola backs Hamzat.
The other aspirants believe that the clash between the two top politicians in the state would pave way for one of them.
According to their calculation, as analysed by an aide to one of the contenders, they believe that when the clash becomes intense, APC would want to wade in by making sure candidates of the duo step down from the race.
“This would afford my boss and the others to be thrown up in the race,” the source close to Ikuforiji said, expressing belief that his boss stands a better chance to be picked by the party in spite of allegation of misappropriation of fund against him by the nation’s Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC).
Ambode versus Hamzat
Analysts in the state and within the APC say the election is majorly between the incumbent governor and Tinubu because of their different choices of candidates for the election.
It is widely known that Tinubu is passionate about Ambode and that even before his overseas trip, had mandated political office holders including the 57 local government chairmen in the State, the councillors and supervisors and members of the House of Assembly to support his choice.
On the other hand, Fashola is bent on ensuring he is replaced by Hamzat, some of his loyalists saying the governor has become resolute on Hamzat.
True, Hamzat, whose father is the current king of Ewekoro in Ogun State, was brought to Nigeria by Tinubu to support the development of Lagos. Apart from this, party members say Hamzat in government was to compensate his father for supporting Tinubu.
Party members told Naijaloaded.com.ng that prior to 1999, Alhaji Mufutau Olatunji Hamzat, the Oba of Ewekoro, was in charge of the political structure in Lagos State which helped Tinubu become governor of the state. He was then the godfather of Lagos opposition politics.
However, as he finally moved over to Ogun State, he handed the structure over to Tinubu thus making Tinubu the new leader. Tinubu thereafter expanded his political horizon and brought Femi Hamzat, the brilliant son of the Oba, to become the state’s commissioner for works.
It was learnt that Fashola soon got close to Hamzat who became a kitchen cabinet member of the governor. His intelligence and ideas have helped the governor to succeed.
It is also on record that road projects constructed by Hamzat have always been adjudged some of the best roads ever constructed in state.
According to sources close to government, Fashola believes more in Hamzat as one who would continue from where he stops because of his passion for the continuous development of the state.
On the other hand, Ambode’s success and endearment to Tinubu started while Tinubu was governor and Ambode was Accountant-General of the state. It was learnt that Ambode successfully managed the finances of the state during the challenging period when former President Olusegun Obasanjo froze allocations to Lagos State because Tinubu created the Local Council Development Areas.
Moreover, Tinubu is said to be interested in one who would be loyal to him and not one whose loyalty could be to Fashola.
Another fear is that since it was the structure of Hamzat’s father that Tinubu is overseeing now, the commissioner could hijack the structure from him when he finally becomes governor.
The Akiolu Angle
Just as Lagos politicians were still considering how to go about 2015, Oba Akiolu of Lagos publicly announced, controversially, that the state traditional council had endorsed Ambode as the sole candidate of the APC.
The Oba’s declaration caught most of the other traditional rulers unawares with many denying ever attending any meeting where such decision was taken. There were reports that the Oba could have been induced to make such public pronouncement.
Akiolu also made some denigrating remarks to the extent that he called Hamzat a foreigner whose father is the King of Ewekoro, saying such a person cannot govern Lagos. He also said Ambode was from Epe area of Lagos, a statement which generated a serious controversy especially as it was discovered by some people that Ambode is originally from Ondo State and that his father only came to settle in Epe.
Since then, however, the monarch had remained silent on the political journey ahead of 2015 after he received a barrage of criticisms from Nigerians, many of who said as a traditional ruler, he was supposed to take the toga of a father to all contestants. Irked by the role of Oba Akiolu, it was learnt that Fashola vowed to fight for Hamzat.
Call against Imposition of Candidates
Another aspect on the road to the election in the State is the clamour against imposition of candidates by some members of the APC. There had been many protests by APC members who say there must be free and fair primaries to pick the party’s candidates for the different positions.
Chairman of the party in the state, Henry Ajomale, attested to the clamour when he attacked those opposed to imposition as hypocrites recently at an event in Epe.
In the statement where political watchers believe he was referring to Fashola, Ajomale said all those saying no to imposition should remember that they were imposed on others just to get to where they are currently. He therefore warned members against carrying out activities that could endanger the chances of the party in 2015.
“As the underground campaigns have started and the day is drawing close, how we resolve this looming crisis in the party would determine how we would succeed in the election. Remember the PDP is only waiting for our flaws to harp on,” a top member of the party told the Press

“Nigerians Can Spend N1M On Burials But Not On Education” – Oyedepo Defends Private University

It’s no news that Nigerians have complained over the high cost of tuition fees for private universities, especially those owned by Churches. The founder of the Living Faith Church, Bishop David Oyedepo, has defended thetuition fees charged by schools owned by the church, describing the provision of quality education as an expensive venture. While addressing journalists on Friday in Ota, Ogun State, at a media chat organised in commemoration of his 60th birthday coming up on September 27, 2014.He said

“I’m sure we all agree that education is expensive. Education carries cost; nothing of value is free. Our mission for years long, before we started any university or secondary school, was a bursary awarding church and we have not stopped doing that till tomorrow.

Our problem most of the time is priority; an average Nigerian can spend N1m on burial but to spend N200,000 on education (is a problem), because of wrong priority. On a yearly basis, we have N1.5trn that Nigerians spend to overseas universities, so people thrive on it. Nigerians spend N463bn a month on recharge cards, how much are they paying for schools fees? So it’s all a matter of priority. This is the largest market for telephone in the world. Now, to pay N500,000, some people have only one son, they have huge business and houses all over the places, they will never pay it.”

On why he never responds to controversial reports about him

“My understanding of opposition, persecution is simply someone’s opinion harshly expressed. Everybody has a right to his opinion. Today, millions follow after Christ but you will be surprised that when you get to Israel some people do not believe that Christ has come.

“People have rights to their opinions. I naturally don’t feel it’s necessary (to respond). The energy I would need to react, I can use it to make moves. I have enough to think about than start running after a man who says you are a fool.

“If he says you are a fool and you are behaving so, then he’s right. If you leave your job and start pursuing somebody who says you are a fool, he has already said so, your going around doesn’t change it. So why going around, why don’t you settle on your job and make moves?

“I’ve also come to understand that those who make news hardly watch them, they are so busy making news while others are busy watching.”

Police Kill Two Wanted Kidnappers In Enugu

Enugu State Police Command has reduced by two the names on its wanted list after killing members of a notorious robbery/kidnap gang for allegedly terrorizing residents of Trans-Ekulu and its environs, in a fierce gun battle.
“A joint operation on September 19 led to the arrest of two notorious armed robbery suspects who had been terrorizing the lives and property of the good people of Trans-Ekulu and its environs.” said Ebere Amaraizu, Enugu State Police Public Relations Officer, (PPRO) in a statement at the weekend.
“Our operatives swooped on them, following intelligence report as they were about to carry out their nefarious activities on that fateful night while operating in a Golf, Volkswagen car with Enugu taxi-cab colour along Enugu-Onitsha expressway by Trans-Ekulu axis of the state.
“The hoodlums who were four in number, on sighting the operatives who already had taken their positions, opened fire on them and in the ensuing gun duel, two of the suspects were fatally injured, leaving them dead, while the rest believed to have sustained bullet wounds escaped into the bush.
“Among the deceased suspects is the leader of the gang, simply called Udochukwu, and his cohort also identified as Onyebuchi. They had been on the wanted list of the operatives over some killings in Trans-Ekulu and Abakpa, including the last two weeks incident of killings at a filling station in Trans-Ekulu, among others.
“Manhunt on the escapee gang members have been intensified by the operatives. The state command is also appealing to hospital operators and good people of the state with information about anyone with injury/injuries suspected to be that of bullet, to report promptly to any nearby Police Division or contact the state command,” he said.

Nickelodeon Star Miranda Cosgrove Fan: I'm Going to Kill Myself 'Cause You Don't Love Me'

Nickelodeon star MIranda Cosgrove got a spectacularly horrifying set of pics from a fan ... who threatened to kill himself with a hairdryer in a bathtub because his love for her was not returned. Joshua Stockton also sent Miranda pics of a slit wrist, writing, "Maybe I'll finish the job I started." Stockton was upset because he was vying for Miranda's affection by sending her gifts through UPS and she had them all returned -- unopened. Miranda filed legal docs -- asking a judge for protection -- claiming Stockton would troll her social media, looking for fan sightings of the actress. If someone posted a pic of Miranda at USC -- where she goes to school or at Disneyland -- Stockton would show up. A judge felt there was a serious threat ... so he ordered Stockton stay clear of Miranda.
