Beyonce To Drop Second Album In Secret

Though she crooned “probably won’t make no money off this, oh well” in the ghostly tune “Haunted,” Beyonce did, in fact, make a pretty penny off her fifth self-titled studio album. Shocking fans and critics alike when she dropped the unpublicized visual album on iTunes on Dec. 13, 2013, Queen Bey, 33, sold more than 800,000 copies in just three days and shattered iTunes digital album sale records. It has since sold more than 5 million copies worldwide.

So it makes sense that with the one-year anniversary of the historic album a little more than a month away, rumors are beginning to swirl that the “Flawless” singer could be looking to pull another Houdini and drop a second secret album.

circulated online over the weekend, which appeared to be an album release confirmation from Parkwood Entertainment (the superstar’s production company) and Columbia Records titled “Beyonce - Self Titled - Volume 2.” The release date on the document (which could totally be Photoshopped) notes that the digital copy will be available on iTunes on Friday, Nov. 14 and a physical four-disc copy goes on sale on Monday, Nov. 25.

The document says that featured artists include Blue Ivy, Drake, Jay Z, Nicki Minaj, Frank Ocean, Justin Timberlake, Rihanna, and feminist speaker Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie, whose Ted Talks speech “We Should All Be Feminists” is so memorably excerpted in “Flawless.”
It appears to be a deluxe version of last December’s instant-classic album with 11 new songs, including the “Flawless” remix featuring Minaj. The document also claims the physical copy will feature DVDs of 28 music videos, the Mrs. Carter Show World Tour, and the On the Run Tour performance from Paris, which was featured in the HBO special in October.

Beyonce’s Destiny’s Child bandmate Michelle Williams appeared on Watch What Happens Live where she was grilled by host Andy Cohen about the potential album.
