His career started in a small room in University of Nigeria, Nsukka where he met BeatOven, IDK & Noizque and formed a group known as the Department of Sound.
Michael Archibong; born July 16, 1988, popularly known as Major Bangz is the producer behind popular hits like Parcel, Alobam, Shoki and Powerful but to name a few. The Nigerian producer who grew up in Benue State is an Architecture graduate of University of Nigeria.
He has since produced songs for various popular artists, released and unreleased. His first hit was in 2011 known as Etighi by Diva. He moved to Lagos in November 2011 from Calabar and got signed to Mogul music from 2011 – 2013.
Other hits he's worked on are: Hi (Video Version), Girls, Aju Feat Olamide, Lambebe, Sammy Gravano's Naked, Yayo, Efa, Respect my hustle feat Banky W.
MajorBangz recently signed a deal with Diamond Bank and notjustok.com to produce an album for the winner of the Diamond Bank #YouNeedANewBank Remix Competition . The winner also gets a whooping sum of 1.5Million Naira.
